The city of Antwerp is known for its shopping as many people are impressed with the collection of the antiques, diamonds as well as high fashion. However, they should be prepared to spend a little more because it is generally more expensive. It is also referred to as the Quarter Latin and comes with a variety of up market stores such as the Korte Gathuisstraat and Schuttershofstraat.
The visitors can also shop at the Grand Bazar Shopping Center- one of the newest malls in the heart of Antwerp, situated along the Beddenstrat and next to the Hilton Hotel. Formerly a historic department store, the Grand Bazar comes with a variety of small shops as well as dining terraces, where the shoppers can grab snacks and meals against a backdrop of stylish surroundings.
